Professional Development Workshops

The Springfield Museums offer professional development for teachers using our exhibitions and collections as resources for science, social studies, language arts or art curriculum. Educators can enhance their knowledge through thematic lectures led by museum staff or content specialists, participate in museum-based learning activities to develop new teaching skills, preview our school programs, meet museum educators, and learn about how to schedule a field trip.

For more information about upcoming professional development opportunities, or to hold your workshop, email fieldtrips@springfieldmuseums.org or call 413.263.6800, ext. 322.
